When refuelling light aircraft, the pilot is often not present which increases the risk of supplying the incorrect grade of fuel (mis-fuelling).
In order to reduce this risk, and at the request of one of the major fuel suppliers, we have developed a Refuelling Tag. After completion of each refuelling, the appropriate tag is filled in by the refuelling operator and tied to the controls of the aircraft. When the pilot return to the aircraft, it is then clear to him which grade of fuel has been delivered before he attempts to move the aircraft.
